I booked this hotel because it was right off the interstate and seemed to have decent reviews, and it had a pool which I knew I would need after full day of driving. I have a neuromuscular disorder and the pool would help my muscles so I could sleep. At check in I was informed the pool & laundry not in service. Apparently new owners have only owned this hotel for a few months and don't have everything they need to open their pool per front desk. I expressed that this was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel and that I should have been told and it should also be disclosed on the app. I booked through the app, and I also called the location to ensure my reservation had gone through because the app was being difficult. I wasn't informed no pool till check in. The hallway to room had a very odd smell. Room was basic but clean. Small microwave but no coffee/tea maker. TV kept freezing up. After trying to get it to work after 6 freeze ups I called the front desk to report it. I was told they don't have good service here and that another guest had also complained of the same thing. I was informed if I pull the TV away from the wall I could maybe get behind it to get it to work. I reminded the staff I am disabled and exhausted and would not be attempting that. The bathroom light, when turned on makes a loud annoying sound. The shower handle was not properly attached to the wall causing it to slide around when turning on the shower. The sink took up to 20 mins to drain. With no pool, and no TV I made the decision to just go to bed early., This did not last long. Between the time I went to sleep through late into the night it was doors loudly slamming, teens running up and down the halls laughing and yelling, and banging and stomping around in rooms on all sides. Must be little to no sound proofing between rooms because even with the fan on high and ear plugs in you could hear the other guests as if they were in the same room. The doors close super heavy making not only a noise loud enough to wake you, but you can feel it when the doors in rooms next to you close. No sleep at this hotel. Yes, I did make the front desk staff aware of the situation. If I had any energy I should have called around to find another hotel. There is a Hilton right next door. I was just too exhausted and uncomfortable to put that work in. On checkout I mentioned to a new staff at front desk all my concerns. He apologized and said he works the overnight shift and when he came on last night he had to go up to the floors after midnight and tell the guests to be quiet because he could hear it downstairs. I expressed how loud it was in my room and that it started back up at 4:50am. Now I have another full day of driving on only 3hrs sleep. Let's end on a good note. Despite not being able to correct any of the issues, the front desk staff were apologetic, kind & sympathetic.
